Folding of the wings: Tilt of the rotation axis

Thanks to the tilt of the axis of rotation, the wing rises during folding and passes over the vertical stabilizer. This one can therefore be enlarged. This is the process I use on my Part 103 project.
It can also be applied to my previous design of a small conventional plane . With a tilt of the axis of 5° one can obtain this:

The surface of the vertical tail is more acceptable.
Obviously the shape of the fuselage must be changed

Thanks, Laurent, I enjoy following the progress of your thinking through different iterations of the concept. One suggestion…your messages come through from “Titre du site” so you might want to change it to “Avion à ailes pliantes” so it doesn’t look like a spam message.
